The Technical Side of Power: Google Jules Implementation
The implementation of the full functionality of the PWA required precise changes "under the hood" of the 3S website. Using the technological support of coding agents, we have optimized the file structure to meet the stringent requirements of modern browsers.
1. The Heart of the System: Web App Manifest
We have created a site.webmanifest file in the root directory of the site. This is a standard JSON file that tells the phone how you want our app to behave after "installation". The file has been linked in the header of the website, which guarantees that it is automatically detected by devices.
2. Service Worker (sw.js) – Android Key
Just having a manifest is not enough for Chrome on Android. To activate standalone mode, we implemented Service Worker (sw.js).
Role: Even in its minimal form, it supports simple data caching.
Registration: The script is automatically loaded by the footer.
Result: It was this element that unlocked the ability to display the page without an address bar.
3. Complete visuals
We have updated the icon set to make the site look perfect on any system. We have prepared paths for files such as apple-touch-icon.png and favicon.svg, which ensures the high quality of the 3S logo on the home screen.
